    I sold Rope a ported 026 a year ago and a couple weeks later he sent me his ms261 to port. I have his 441 here right now that I'll be getting to next week

    Brad, like you I had a 290 (new in 2002) and last year was gifted a 261. Definitely the 261 will outcut the 290. I've not yet ported the saw and undecided if I will but if I do, then huskihl will be my choice of who does the job. He really is a nice guy and does excellent work.

    If the round trip shipping was not so much I would send my hustihl ported 261 down to your GTG for you to see what the difference is.

    No, I have to drive 450 miles one way to Whitehorse, Yukon to get it. I have Canadian buddy that goes to Whitehorse once a month....hmmmm

    Might have to get more than one.
