    Not yet. Might be a 2 year + dry time on this stuff. The small branches that fall from this tree make great kindling/ starter wood.

    I’m glad u like those damm dogs. I just had to go outside and cut a “chicken only” door in the chicken house. Egg sucking dogs. Little buggers look up at the window to see if I’m watching before they go on an egg raid. Maybe us Kentuckians shouldn’t own Aussies, too damm smart.

    I am going with Hickory, based on the split, which variety I'm not sure yet. I want to say Shagbark, but I am not convinced based on that bark picture.

    Weldrdave led me down the hickory path. The bark isn’t pronounced enough to be shag.
