Hello all! Newbie here just wanted to stop in and say hi Just put in a heco 520 cook stove as my primary heat sourse this fall. Switched from a rocket stove and am loving it so I thought this would be a good forum to be on.
Still need to finish the hearth and the back wall but I’ll try to get that done this summer. It came in about six weeks late and was a mad rush to get it in and burning about mid October.
Welcome! That is a very handsome piece of equipment! Love to see the details on it. I think it's pretty great that wood cookstoves seem to be enjoying a bit of a renaissance. I'd never convince Mrs Papi to use one full time, but we'd like a cabin some day and I think a wood cookstove is required there.

I know what you mean about the wife. I can have that thing roaring and she will still go to the electric range to cook dinner. That’s the one. Wish I could have gotten the glass doors but they are a rather pricey upgrade
