    Buchers pepper goes in with all the other ingredience of cure...most gets rinsed off before goin on the smoker.....i dont make mine very salty either...
    Slices are about 1/8 thick...one friend always gets 3/8"...he get about 5#s

    Well we were up to 46* but now is a whole nother story. It is down to about. 33* and snowing. The wind is whipping pretty good but differently see pine I want down. We where planning on taking it down anyway . Well with the rain earlier and now with temps dropping not going to be fun for Chaz tomorrow

    Thanks man. We are ok here. Columbus, Ms had one casualty and major damage from a tornado. We lost power for a few hours but all we have is a little flooding. Here’s a pic of the creek close to my house

    Other than that, a few trees are down. Some were close to hitting homes but nothing that I saw made contact. One huge branch broke off of a maple but all the others were blown over with roots exposed.

    winds are ramping up here.
    luckily I live in a hollow in a valley, so usually doesn't get too bad here at the house

    We've had about 3-4 "blink of an eye" brownouts the last hour or so. Decided to restart the stove in case we lose power.......supposed to get down to 6 tonight.

    High wind warning herein CT overnight into tomorrow. Ive seen minimal wind so far! Foggy & misty here.
