I read they have a lot of fines and great clunker material. True?

Your hopper should be big enough where this is not an issue.

re: Low supplies - local vendor has asked us to limit bag sale purchases to 10 or less of Satisfaction (LG) pellets here ... to stretch existing inventory until next delivery. Now running the Dino Burner 4-6 hrs. / day: solar gain is getting better here, between 10am - 4pm.

    Clunker!!

There have been many reports of fines issues, yes. I had a batch a couple years ago that were pretty bad. Major fireworks show as PelletHound alluded to above. Just picked up another batch at TSC a few weeks ago and honestly they are terrific. No fines to speak of and they burn super clean. No hopper slide issues either. The bags are dated 2016.

My local Canadian Tire store has run out of their normal pellets Canawick & Elite. I've seen Fireside once then Spruce Pointe and a never seen brand BioPower hwd from Atikokan, Ontario. I guess they grabbed whatever pellet they could to replenish the depleted stock. I picked up a couple bags of BioPower to try and have to report back on these, I got higher heat than Lacrete's :bug: I'm impressed

Isn’t that great when you try a no-name brand or one that you never heard of before and it knocks your socks off? Excellent! Couple seasons ago my buds Steve and Will traded me some brands I never burned and they were outstanding!

I agree and I have to say I wasn't happy when the warehouse guy came over with the bottom of a pallet and started loading dirty dusty bags in my SUV . After about 8 bags I told him to stop and grab them from a nice clean fresh pallet close by . I tossed those bags right back at him and loaded my own vehicle with the clean ones
