What's up today (bullchiting) thread.

The heat on my brothers Jeep cj7 with a soft top couldn't keep up with the extreme cold and wind on it's way out west when he moved to Portland. He bought one of these little things and that way he could keep his feet warm and the windshield defrosted at the same time.

 

I think it was in Cheyenne Wyoming that he had to use a rope to tie /hold the soft doors shut on the freeway. wildwest would understand.

 

Ok, gotta go to bed after working like 11 hrs today. 9 hrs at work, 2 at home on the laptop.



Vacation in Florida is in like 5 weeks. Driving down with my wife and both dogs. Rented a house a block from the beach. Can't wait....

We got 8" of snow last night, and it's 8° outside. The fire Choochin' away is what makes it bearable.

 

We got 6 and another maybe 6 tomorrow. But this did happen on Sunday.

 

Not that slow, some folks inside soaking up the AC!

February cold snap I guess. Hopefully it moves on after this week. I hope my work doesn't shut down tomorrow for my bank accounts sake, not that I don't love the idea of staying inside.


Today should be decent by comparison, I think I'll take my true winter coat for the first time this year and watch this ship come in ....supposed to arrive 10 AM, 8:40 now and she's still about 60 miles away. She could be a bit late

 

16° this morning. Winter is still hanging around. Snow tomorrow night should be interesting. They’ve blown every forecast this year, and it always been they over estimated the amount. Hoping this will one be the same.

 

Raining outside but just above freezing. Depends on the wind whether it will be snow or rain. Roads are going to be a mess. Curling is on all day today so that is something campinspecter can look forward to. Me, it is a work day.

 

6 a.m. it was -27C this morning. At 10 a.m. it is -15C . Supposed to climb to -9C this afternoon.

 

Winter doldrums setting in .
Business came to a screeching halt which I've been looking forward to. Behind on a lot of projects so still keeping busy.
Planted some lettuce and spinach in the sunroom the other day.
Birds have been plentiful and active at the feeder.
Spring is right around the corner

 

Started the day at 2* now it is 20*. Each day getting up to high of 41* and low of 35* I like that trend.

Love that you are helping him but would have been nice to give you a heads up.

 

Trust me...I’m not hitting a lick til he gets here. It’s already cut, just need to spend a half hour to get him thru.

 

I see Midwinter is lurking. Shouldn’t she be getting ready to unleash the unholy mother lode of stuff on the other funny picture thread?
