Haha, Some places around there you end up using your hands almost as much as your feet

 

TrinitySouth99, do you know where this gentleman lives? Another one I like to watch in bigland trapper. Beautiful land, villages and seascapes.

 

First time ive seen his channel honestly haha. I see he's somewhere up in Labrador according to his channel.....never been there myself, wouldn't mind a visit sometime (in the summertime haha). Still gotta explore the western half of NFLD, but right now I don't have the means to do that.

I noticed a video on his channel "trip back to Williams harbour" - I recall reading an article some time ago about that community being resettled. that's a real shame...

Thanks! That's an old stagecoach road that was paved over and the building a stage stop.

 

Heres a photo I took on my way down from checking out a lake for ice fishing. The road access was snowed in so I couldnt access without considerable effort. This was after I tried a hike in lake that me and the husky had a hard time standing up on due to intense winds. Wind chills were through the roof and wind speeds must have been 100 km plus. If the wind is making it hard to stand up for the dog and I Im out of there. I wasnt into survival fishing that day. I ended up cruising around in the bush and snapped this photo.

 

I'm just catching up on this thread and there are some great photos here. I've really enjoyed them.

I'm supposed to be cleaning the basement but the sun hit through the window just right.
