Mom offered 10 bucks to go for a drive :)

I get a kick out of this project, for lack of a better way of putting it. "Beaumont gardens". I guess "Beaumont asphalt" didn't sound nice enough. 78 "homes" on one former schoolyard. Not much room for gardens....I do like that they're reusing a property instead of claiming a new one.

Oh yeah, I didn't slip and fall either. Lol

That another reason to get the additional garage built so I can get the snowblower attachment fur my ariens gt17. Less chance to fall off in on the seat of a 4 wheeled tractor.:handshake:

Is that St. John's down below? Is it far from your town?

Heading out drive was no problem. The drive home was a bit longer due to the weather, road conditions, visibility and slower traffic.

And then there are those damm wiper blades of the rav4....they ice up at the mere mention of snow. I have replaced them with OEM and there is absolutely no difference at all. Poor Toyota design. They actually froze to the windshield so that I couldn't turn them on! If there would be one thing to make me NOT buy another rav4, this would be it. My friends wife has one and he told me about that issue last summer; now I see exactly what he meant.

Not sure just how much snow we got here as 99 had the driveway and paths snow blowed when I got home at 3:00. I think she really likes running that new ariens! She won't let me use it, but here's a pic of the old one...………….

The first 2 pics are (well, Beaumont "gardens" is too). My homes about 60 miles away, moms house is a just few minutes over the horizon. Last pic is petty harbour, a few minutes south of town.

Nothing like being on the water early in the morning or in the afternoon just before sunset.

I just went out and moved the cars into their snowfighting positions, and moved the Bronco into the back yard where I can warm it up without filling the house next door with diesel exhaust. Got about 3" of light powder so far. Supposed to turn to suck at some point.

Lol. What model, trim level, of RAV4 is that? I know some cars, like my Audi, have heated " parking spots" for the wipers. That helps a ton.

Sometimes it's just an option on a car, regardless of the trim level, and sometimes it's standard.

Apparently the heated wiper park spot wasn't on US models. Apparently Canada gets them. You can put on the heated windshield, and add a relay and the button and it works. It depends on the year of the RAV4. But I'd be shocked if toyota didn't at least offer it on later models.

This is the button you want..

Otherwise you could get heated blades. I think about 140 a pair, and you'll need to wire them in.
