    Huh?

I thought it was his kids science project where a gerbil on a wheel, or maybe a potato lights the bulbs

Go with low watt LED lamps and wrap them with aluminum foil to cover most of the bulb...leave a little hole in the foil so you can see if the lamp is on.

Just guessing, but probably needs the incandescent bulbs, to simulate resistive motor load.

    That might be...
The triac speed controls do need a resistive load to work right.

Slickery ride home with da white chit a flyin. Made it home before the sleet got too bad. Thomaston was already sleeting and the highway was slickery in spots. But as I went north it was all snow again. Pretty much un-eventful and no spin outs or benders that I could see. State trucks we staged to hit the road at the on ramps.

About 3 inches of fluffy stuff here. Got the deck and steps shoveled. Likely head out after dinner and run the do hicky that hides in the shed.

Gonna hit the hay early, Might not be so nice of a ride in...................

The last several storms have been busts. Last three USPS deliveries made it to the door. One was a *zon shot. The other two were from Al's farms.

Nope not me Bob, but i did steal his light bulb tester idea. im gonna modify it so it fits in a Tool box or tackle box (gotta be mobile). the bulbs drive me more insane than i all ready am. there are times i still have to hook up motors just to make sure there is resistance in the circuits. especially Breckwell and englander.
