Downhill skid to an old gravel pit, where I process and stack. There is a stream and some pasture between there and the house. My wife likes that the processing debris is away from the yard. I was reading @Slocum’s comments about skidding uphill and was feeling pretty lucky. There is another 25 acres on the far side of the hill that backs up against someone else’s property - I need to see about temporary access to get some wood cut back there one of these days (out of sight, out of mind for the most part)

Up to camp, 12 miles from Well Seasoned 's place. You can see how thin his hair is from the summer shedding. By the fall they have long thick beautiful coats.
Beautiful place you have there Flamestead. Reminds me of family property in central Maine. Got plenty o rocks here in New Hampshire. Anybody needs any I’ll ship buyer pays. Lol!
