I shoveled one out of two trenches on the steel roof so it can dump and make another mess below :picard:

Got both stoves cleaned out this morning and then hung a drapery rod in the living room. Motor went kaput in the motorized rod and there is not moving the drapes without the motor. I'll see if I can get something finagled and use it in the bedroom where I am still using the old basic curtain hangers that came with the house. Heck, it would be a big step forward if I could figure out how to remove the motor, but it's not immediately apparent to me (huge surprise - not).

Waiting for the dryer to stop so I can hang my work clothes, then it's time to get groceries. While I have the car out of the garage, I'll move a few more bags of Vermont's in for the P43.

Power went out, plowed some snow, still not on,so went to town, got fuel and beer.Back on now, relit both stoves.Keeping the old stove in basement is great when below zero, doubt I will ever get rid of it.

Nothing special, middle of the road lower heat pellets. I did test these, not sure if it's worth a review.

Well, since those drapes are behind a bunch of furniture, it is difficult to manually open them, which is why I went with motorized (my Christmas present to myself). But, the motor only lasted 3 years, so I'm just going to have to move stuff every day for opening and closing now.

LOL I am too simple of a man.I built 2 closets in my bedroom, when I built the upstairs.Hanging rods, and shelves.Later,my BIL came down, and put up bifold doors on the closets. They have never been shut,I am to the point they will probably be removed this summer. If you put it behind a door,in a drawer,I will forget about/ignore it.Same with furniture, has not been sat in in 3 months, why do you need it?Sorry,I am just a stick in the mud.LOLBut,I do live in a small cabin.

Took advantage of the warm weather last Wednesday and replaced the door gasket on the P68. Now I am getting cleaner burns with no soot on the firebrick or glass.

    Whoda thunk? :p

I also had the pleasure of an adjusting bolt head breaking off of the latch.

Luckily it was the upper pivot bolt and not the latching bolt. It still had enough meat on the bolt to go in the hole in the frame and align the pivot point until Friday when it warmed again. I took out the latch assembly and drilled out the broken bolt. Trip to local hardware store and new bolt is now holding properly.

As long as Larry can get the 1-1.2 ton pallets put where he wants and he can manage the bags one at a time, he is still good to go
