6x12 CAM Superline (~Sure Trac) 3000# GVWR. Gonna pick up hay tomorrow. Should be good for firewood, lumber, lawn tractor, etc., too. Thankfully, I have a couple of friends with full blown 10K# trailers and bigger trucks for moving really heavy stuff like my tractor, big logs, large quantities of green lumber, etc.

I think they rate them all at 3300 lbs here in order to avoid the necessity of trailer brakes. It just may be 3500 lbs though come to think of it Willis.

They register single axle trailers at 2990# GVWR to avoid brakes and state inspection. The axles are 3500# rated.

Only downside to that is, God forbid you get pulled over in a roadside inspection or worse yet, get involved in a accident and have 2991 lbs or more on it. Then the BS starts.

Trailers really keep their value. I can’t believe what they ask for trailers on CL! Great planning getting the spare tire. I see a lot of trailers parked along the road with a flat tire.

I'm glad we don't have any of that garbage in this state.

mike bayerl , you'll get a lot of use out of that trailer. I get a ton of use out of our 4x8.

Had this one for 3 years. Paid $1200. for it originally and had no problem selling it for $1500. last fall.

Bought this one for $1100 last summer. Put another $400 into it for 4 brake conversion and safety inspection. Have since got rid of the 300 and am pulling it with a Silverado

It must be nice that you can tow your tractor with that trailer and a ?1/2 ton pickup. My L3710 with FEL and filled tires, etc. is ~6,000#, so I would need a full on 10,000# GVWR trailer and them there cost a fair bit more than the $1,500 you paid for your dual-axle trailer. Thankfully, I've only ever needed to trailer my tractor once, and I just paid the dealer for that. They are only 15 minutes away. However, I'm still jealous of your 2 axle trailer. I would really have liked a 7,000# GVWR trailer for hauling green lumber and fresh firewood. However, it was not in my budget.

mike bayerl just an fyi, sometimes cheaper to get a flat bed tow truck... And for what its worth, AAA towed mine to shop when I was driving it to a buddies house 7 miles down road and .. Dog ran out in front of me.. Went off side of road bent front steering rod.. They say any vehicle I am driving.. It worked....

Probably a red neck joke in there somewhere...
