Score from a good neighbor

    So my neighbor is an arborist who burns wood as well - he took pity on me and dropped a few big sections of 26" diameter white oak - three 36" lengths and a 42" that he helped me cut up.

    I got them S&S at the end of last month and am just getting around to posting pics! Did as much as I wanted with the maul and then borrowed a splitter to knock it out.

    I got two stacks that were 18" x 5' x 8' or so nearly a cord by the Grizzly Adam calculator!

    We're on pretty great terms but I think he enjoys my love for wood burning and chainsaws! :woodsign:
