Doc said no bubbly for a few days. I don't care much for beer anyway. 7&7 or Southern Comfort suits me just fine:drunk:

Actually, it is my neck and shoulders are a bit sore and stiff. The Doc said nothing is broken and I would be sore for a few days. I believe him.

Wow! Can't say I have ever seen a thread where someone admitted to falling off the roof before! I probably does happen more than you hear about though...glad to here you are relatively unscathed...must have a lil Tigger in you! (Tiggers bounce ya know...)

Erik, I think the smoke effect was due to the relatively warm air, and all the moisture.

I had that too, but I didn't see any clog. It's better already tonight.
I'm glad the fall wasn't worse.

Falling off a roof is no joke! No doubt you know how lucky you got.

Took one ride off a metal roof while building my garage. Don't ever want to do it again. Glad to hear nothing broken. Bumbles bounce too!

Congratulations Erik B. You just confirmed the law of gravity.

Sure hope that soreness does not last long. Apply some heat to the neck and shoulders to help loosen up the muscles.

Be careful. Falling is something we take for granted that we will get back up. Just lost a good buddy from last week's ice storm. Walking the garbage can to the road and fell backwards, broke his neck and tailbone (think of crack the whip action). Paralyzed from neck down, he died two mornings ago.

Yeah, those "funny" gifs/vids of people slipping and smacking their head on ice make me wince. Even if you don't whack your head an elbow /arm / hand stuck out to instinctively break a fall can break bones.

Glad you weren't seriously hurt Erik B ... pain is no fun. Hope it subsides quickly. I try to keep my death defying stunts to a minimum these days... I don't seem to "bounce" quite like I used to... :picard: damm gravity... :headbang:
