I’d base it on GTG invites. Where would you get more from?:salute:

Curling in the morning, football in the afternoon. The team we cheered for won the game. Will we still get invites to FHC GTGs? Mom's place had more snow that we did. I guess it is the "lake effect" of her place being on an island.

    You sure will!

Don’t be mad at the other team if they don’t send one.

Either tequila is interested in helping mom with her schoolwork, or she's interested in her breakfast. Hmmm.......

we've had that issue most of the winter. Temp keeps dipping above and below freezing point, rain, snow, rain, snow. (Which is fairly normal of recent years) When it goes below, everything is a sheet of glass. Overall I'd call it a pleasant alternative to snow build up, but it sure is slippery in places. Took a good smack in the shoulder the other week, but I did kinda ask for it by walking on a frozen incline when I didn't have to

Well, I probably took on a little more than I should have yesterday. Dealing with that chronic back issue and still recovering from a bad incident almost 2 weeks ago (trip to Drs. and then trip to emergency room) Yesterday, I was confident enough to head to the cottage and snow blow the driveway. Things weren't so well last evening. Had a tough time moving around. I was careful not to bull around the snowblower, but I guess not careful enough.

So far, so good today. Driveway sure needed it though!

The worst is when you get a light dusting of snow on that ice. It seems slipperier than it was before, and you can’t see it. That got me a week ago.

Can relate. When I've over done the back thing, I put on a lifting / back brace type belt. Seems to help hold things together while things settle down.

Let it be known that Woodwidow and campinspecter have officially been invited to our spring GTG on May 3-4.

Well Dave, I've dealt with this problem now big time since 1984. Not as much of a problem before that but still a problem. One thing I can honestly say though is that you never get used to it.... :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

Yup...this has been going on since the 70's with me. The last 25 years have been increasingly bad but the last 10 years have been limitingly bad!

The back brace does seem to help a bit.
