    Well, we're back safe and sound! It was definitely tricky getting her out of the car after a 2.5 hours drive, she cried quite a bit. We made it safely inside where she is resting now as a type this. The next 3 days will be the hardest, quite a bit if swelling and bruising so an ice gel pack will be administered a few times a day. Poor girl!

    Yes, she is sleeping now which is good! She didn't make it all the way on the bed, but she's comfy. Getting special treatment with a pillow! :sleeping:

    Chesapeake...... see her thinking about jumping in the pool a few years ago?







    I referenced page 442 in this thread for her last surgery. Looks like by the 11th day, she was "toeing" her leg and putting some weight on it. Nice to go back and see what I posted.

    She has been laying around, but she has ALOT of trouble laying back down after she gets up. I got on my knees and have been kinda sliding her sideways down my legs to help out.

    We're trying to slow her down when she goes outside (leash only), she's one quick 3 legger!

    Dawn already talking about making a makeshift bed on the floor and sleeping with her tonight.
