I hear that often. It really doesn’t matter if big split or small with cat stoves? I have Blaze King Ashford 25 insert which is a cat stove . First year burning. I was thinking to split next year’s wood to bigger than 4 inch. Around 6 to 8 inches in diameter.
I filled her up with mostly elm chunks this morning about 0630. Picture taken just now, so just about 17 hours later. Less than a minute to get the next batch of elm chunks started.
