    -29F this morning... had the old St. Croix turned up to #3 on the dial. Also turned on a small ceramic heater to keep the kitchen a but warmer.

    I guess it's time to either rehang our kitchen door or find some better weatherstripping as that old wind was coming in around the door... it's kinda catty wampus in the door frame.

    Going to have to do something about the seals on the casement windows every single one is leaking with the 30+ mph winds and the -30 temps. i had replaced all the glass panels in Nov. so at least I do not have solid sheets of ice for windows this season, unlike last year. going to warm up this week end might try some thin foam adhesive strips where the bulb seals contact. It was way too expensive to replace the windows completely. Also need to put a motorized damper on the HRV 6" intake duct

    I remember a storm a few years ago when snowflakes were blowing into the breakfast room through the door jamb. Told the wife it was probably time to buy a replacement door.

    Burnin some fuel fo sure...blaze king wood stove goin,2 pellet stoves goin,an oil fired furnace,and a 280000 btu waste oil furnace
