Splitting big Rounds

    To whomever posted the tip about using forks to hold big rounds in place during splitting, you sir I owe more than one beer!
    I have got my azz kicked over and over trying to balance and keep everything on the splitter with huge rounds.
    By using forks on my bucket, setting the round in place, and they helping me keep the two halves in place I can now bust a large round alone AND sliding around on a layer of ice though that is not recommended.

    I'm luck I found a local guy with a saw mill. all by bigger stuff goes to him in exchange for lumber.
    I'm too old to mess with big stuff like that.
