On the new version of Win 10, there is no homegroup. I found that out when my system updated without my permission. That's another thing you can't change either.

I didn't care for Edge at all. You can download IE or Mozilla to make it more familiar (I see you got some stuff working - great!)

Got to bed late last night so it is harder to get up early for our walk. Looks like it is dry out there so no excuse to stay in bed. Had a good visit with Mom yesterday and got a few chores done for her. It was a busy day. Off to work this morning.

Short week this week...only 3 days. Wednesday already.

Got an amazing night's sleep last night. 100% deep sleep for almost 7 hours (until the dog woke me up). Feel like a different person.

Hi WW, I don't know alot about it but I'm guessing others here do. Win10 has "Sharing". Somehow over the local area network you can see different files on different computers if they are marked "Share"

Yes, I looked into that and I will have to explore it farther. I just don't want to have to put everything into the "cloud". Home group worked so well with the three different operating systems that were connected.

But just thinking how much heat it takes to heat water up another 40 degrees just seems too much of a waste and certainly not cheap. We have a 30 gallon and heat it to around 115-120. We do need to replace ours as it is getting old; when heating there is lots of noise coming from the heater.

As for bacteria, I'd think you would have to boil water to rid yourself of that.

At the end of the day, it's still the same amount of BTUs. Your standby losses may be slightly higher, but that's it.

You use less "really hot water" than you do "hot water"....the difference is cold water added to the system...which would have to be heated anyway if you didn't have any "really hot water".
