I have a fleece lined shirt that is worn inside so I can go up and down the stairs without wheezing.

It keeps the lungs warm. I haven't tested it but I don't think it is fake.

Cuts down on the wheeze factor, I also have several jackets that keep things toasty.

Weather has sucked - ended up back under the house most of Wednesday replacing the well pump pressure switch, gauge, and supply pipe side run off the tank tee to the main house run.

I should've just replaced the switch and gauge when I did the tank - trying to save a few ($35) bucks created another full day's worth of work. Got 4 days out of the old pressure switch, transferred onto the new tank before it started acting up. :picard:

Playing w/ water and being hunched over in the half basement / half crawlspace @ 38F all afternoon just sucks the heat out of you.. Still feeling it today. :shiver:

Got smart on the supply leg rebuild though: SharkBite fittings, some 3/4" copper pipe, some 1/2" CPVC pipe, a tape measure, and 20 mins. later.. done. Usually torch & solder, but with the weather & roads being so lousy here, really wasn't jazzed at all about using a torch in that area - this time around. Would've been warmer though. :fire:

Have a great evening all, stay warm.

Ya,sharkbite fittings are pretty high quality.Have dealt with 3 different types of plastic pipe stuff, houses and rv's,sharkbite is good.

My neighbor has several of them, rusting in his yard,he bought them, thinking they would be a collectors item, lol. However,my old LL Bean super boots preformed awesome.LL Bean made good stuff, back in the old days.Had a case of brew in the winter van, brought it in,it is mostly frozen,LOL

Switched to Keen's myself a few years ago as the Merril's just were not lasting, first pair of Keen's lasted me 2 years and were awesome but the current pair started falling apart after only 6 months. Hoping I just somehow got a bad pair as I will be purchasing a new pair of Keen's again as I like most here really like them as they are superior to Merril's.

yup done that before with my dumb azz. Out, in repeat. Leave him out for a while and that usually solves that for now. Until he uses his claws to pick at the door weather strip to get my attention to let him back in like its a freaking doorbell -and tear up the rubber over time

yup, sometimes I want to strangle him, but he's still my little buddy

My final pair of Merrill didnt last long either, maybe a year. 2-3 years out of daily shoes that cost over $100 (well half a year each year) isnt too bad. Hope the new Keens hold up as I will be looking now to maybe get a winter pair of the same style I have now (if they still make em) on sale for end of season and hold on to them.
