Our local butcher shop has 80% on sale for 1.79 lb about 3 times a year (gotta buy 10# bags). We usually get 50#s n make 15#s of 1/4# burger patties n the rest goes into 1# packs. We vacuum pack everything so it keeps a good while. Im sittin on about 100#s of venison burger mixed with beef trimmings n bacon so we didnt get very much at the last sale. We buy about 40#s of New York Strips for 4.50# when on sale once a year.... Also when on sale...chicken breast,thighs,leg quarters. Never bacon...we make our own...heres about 29#s im smokin sunday....
