-10f here. Snow predicted Sunday night into Monday followed by a decent arctic cold snap. I loaded up the garage with wood for warming up the old hearth over the entire weekend starting with a roaring blaze after work today. The NWS is calling for lows down to -20f by Wednesday and highs not reaching above zero until next Friday.

32° here, staying in the 30's for the day, with a little wind. All the snow that wasn't piled has melted in my yard. Sounds like an outside kind of day! I can bring some more maple in, and maybe do some splitting. Too bad there's nothing to scrounge. We don't get the cold you have in the Midwest until next Thursday.

Good morning to all, it was 26* here at 0600 hrs., up one deg. now. After yesterdays 53* day I finally got in the so badly needed ash cleanout after the last week of zero-ish temps. Now Oak and Cherry are doing what they do best.

OAT of 8, with a high of 10. WooHoo!
IAT is where I set the stat......67. A whole bunch of cold gonna' hang around for about 10 days.
Raked the roof Wednesday, then shoveled most of the walkway yesterday. I'll finish the rest of the walk, then stay inside, except for a few trips to the shop.

31 feels like 23, 77 inside. The sun is shining and we’ll take it while we can. It’s icy everywhere after the rain. Took advantage of the heat wave and cleaned the stove and cat yesterday.

Guess I was prepared for a colder night last night. I woke up throwing the covers off a few times because it was so warm in here. Some won't find that odd. lol Those who have slept in our house during the get-togethers will certainly agree it can get a bit warm in here. But, it was only 82 when I got up this morning. I sort of wish it would get that warm outside very soon... I don't take the cold as well as I used to.
