    27 now. Wind is starting to pick up....supposed to be sustained 15, gusting to 30 tonight...temp supposed to get down to 0....wind chill down to -15. Boiler is going to get a healthy load of some more of that yellow wood later on this evening.

    22F & dropping, 10-15MPH west wind & moderate to heavy lake effect snow. 6" overnight forecast. Plow truck is inside & ready, I'm inside & ready too I guess. Glad I only plow my place & not the 8-12 hour routes I used to run. Oak in the boiler from earlier. Here we go with winter, lets hope it stays till spring.

    Insane weather here! We had heavy freezing rain this morning, lost a few branches and internet. Finally left late for work, roads still a mess at 32°F, rising to the mid 40s today, snow slides taking out houses, ice letting go on the rivers, ice jams, flooding- straight up dangerous all over. Still raining hard, temps to drop to around 18°F, so everything will refreeze with 1"-3" of snow expected from the leftover storm. This would've been a couple feet had it stayed cold. House still warm, will light up the WS before bed.

    Yes I was born and raised right here my parents property adjoins my own which was my grandparents property originally. I purchased it from them when it became time for them to downsize and move in to town for easier living.

    As for the humidity, well that can be either high or low and at the moment it’s really low 10% at the moment and it’s 110 degrees Fahrenheit again today. Last night it did not drop below 59F.

    It’s not a dry area year round in winter this is one of the wettest parts of Australia. But in summer it drys out! And right now it’s very dry!

    It's butt outside. The next week or so is going to be brutal. I'll be burning good stuff in the quadrafire.
