No sure exactly. Just read that apples and carrots were both good healthy snacks that freshened breath and good for preventing tartar.

Our pup's been a poop snatcher a few times also. We have an invisible fence, and when we purchased it, they give you a training disc for indoors. We put it near the cat box to keep him away. Those cat turds are like caviar I guess :headbang:

Mom's cat spent most of the time we were there doing this. Then he decided that campinspecter's lap was a good place to be. campinspecter figures he camped there so our dogs couldn't sit on his lap. He is a big cat.

Looks pretty good size. Is his tail on the short side or is it just the way the picture looks?

My Rita has a short tail - not a bob tail, just when petting her down the back and up the tail you expect the tail to be longer than it is.

We dropped Maple off this morning at Peak Veterinary hospital for her left and final leg TPLO surgery. We recently got word that the surgery went well, the anesthesia has worn off and she's stable. She'll spend the night there and we'll leave to pick her up in the morning.

Keep her in your prayers that she recovers well please. :)

Maple will be so glad to see you! I guess she'll have enough healing time before spring. How long did it take after the last surgery?

We left 5:45 and they were chitty, but manageable. Wind was brutal on 89!
Put in a short day, now gonna get things sanded by her ramp to the deck. Stay warm!

2 full weeks until she started putting any weight on the surgery leg, but that's likely because her other acl was partially torn as well. They wouldn't do both at the same time then, and they take $1000 bucks off if you have it done within 6mos, so that worked out well.

Once this 2 weeks passes, it'll still be light duty- leash only, no steps, no jumping up on the couch etc for another 6 weeks. Through the latter part of that, leash walks can gradually get longer.

Keeping fingers crossed since her first leg is strong, she does even better this time, but no rush. Dawn took off until Wednesday. Next couple days will be tough like last time. Maple will likely cry a bit, especially at night when the pain meds wear down.

I'll add, when it's this cold, we definitely noticed Maple feels it sooner. Guessing it's the plate in her first leg.

Saucy, forget it, turbo potty break for him.
