    True

My thought is that the larger fan will be able to run slower and pull a good airflow through the pot, and then still have a lot extra to give if need be.

The shells burn best if there is a lot more air going through the pot.

The factory fan running at 70 volts on low is fine with pellets, but the shells really like things up at 112 volts

This leaves very little more to go to be at full line or as far as the phase controls will go, as they do not go to 100% line

Best I have been able to get with the SSAC phase controllers is about 114 volts (95%)

Easy to go low, but anything below 70 volts is too low and the motors don't like it.

I am hoping that the big fan on the 1.75 amp motor at about 85 volts will be right in the groove.

Fan looks great, but it's the wrong hand.

The fan outlet "curl" needs to be on top and on the left when end of the motor is facing you.

Harman Accentra free standing. I just bought the 1.75 amp motor with 5/16 " shaft.. the upgraded one from Harman. My current blower motor is only 1.5 amp and I'm have low draft issues with a lot of carbon build up.

Stove may need a deep clean if you're having draft issues but here's the 5" double paddle:

but, the Accentra F/S came with a 5" single sided fan....(3-20-40985).......just putting in the double (if it fits), could put too much heat into the chimney......more airflow through the stove is not a great substitute for proper cleaning and proper parts.

No draft meter but stove has been cleaned and exhaust pipe cleaned and inspected. I've always seem to have this issue...even replaced the exhaust blower but never looked at what they put in till now.
One more thing that isn't helping is I need a 90 degree elbow off the stove and then a 45 degree off that, a one foot 3"pipe and then another 90 degree elbow and one more one foot pipe to go through the wall. I know it's tough to picture but required due to the tight space and house / wall / stud layout.
This is why I think an exhaust boost would help a great deal.

Actually on an Accentra, you have 2 options, one is the double impeller, which I run,and they also have a plate kit that reduces the opening in the combustion motor cover, goes on with a few screws.I believe the plate will give draft readings somewhere between the single and double impeller. There is a service bulletin, but I do not have it.Will grab one and get the part number off it,I have 2,got them cheap from someone who did not know what they were.

with a draft reading though, you can quantitatively analyze whats going on.....otherwise, youre guessing. Bob is high elevation I beleive

    Thanks Bob,
I never even gave any thought to a plate kit to reduce the combustion motor cover. I have already found it online... Thank again.

It is for the older accentras, you might have to call a dealer with your serial number.

I believe that will further reduce his draft

Harman says it increases draft. Then they changed the combustion motor cover, and it has a smaller hole. But,i have never tried it,and I do not know what year they changed the cover.

I bought my Harman in 2008-2009 so it's an older one. I've replaced the circuit board cuz of warn adj. knobs and replace the ESP sensor due to its age and I was also not sure if that was failing...

Does anyone know the double paddle dimensions? 5" * ? or the single paddle dimensions? 4 3/4 *?
