Went to sis-in-law's Sat. and put down a new sub-floor in a small "room" where my brother redid some crawl space plumbing.
Ended up tearing out a couple small non-bearing walls and reframing a bit. More to do, but she has to go back downstate today, so I may wait to do it sometime this week.
Five hours later, we picked up my wife, then drove to Gaylord to have dinner.
Finally got home about 10. I was beat. Where's the draggin' azz smiley?
It was nice to get that work done though.
I took the saw, etc. with me to get in the woods, but there was no way that was happening.:saw:

Well, at least you had the saw idling beside you while you drove… :saw:;)

All you guys doing/building projects… had me wandering around the end of my woodshed I built last year, thinking about an addition already. Won't get half of the things I come up with done this year, as it is… :D

We also stopped at Lowes to look for some inexpensive flooring for one of the small bedrooms (we're repurposing it from a sewing room to a bunkbed room for the grandkids), and my wife found some very cool tile that looks like aged barnwood. http://www.lowes.com/pd_553878-8927...L=?Ns=p_product_qty_sales_dollar|1&facetInfo=
That'll end up on the kitchen floor when we get around to redoing the kitchen. Looks much better in person than the pic.

Yeah, it won't be inexpensive, but we're only replacing the floor and counters. The floor is about 11'x 16', if memory serves.
    It'll be a couple years.

Just got in from fishing with the mrs. Couple good bites but no fish. It was just nice to get out. Now I'm sitting on the porch drinking a mary and enjoying the sunshine:drunk:

Went back to sis-in-law's and put down the luan and did a little sealing of that.
    Rebuilt a small partition wall.
Now, all we need is some flooring, the electrician to get some wiring done in there, and the drywall can go up.
Saws went with me again, but I just came home to spend the rest of the day with my wife.
Found her pulling tack strips in the small bedroom.

I do lots of laundry here too and have ever since my wife had her knees replaced a couple years ago.. When the weather is mild and NOT raining I also dry the towels outdoors.. Glad I am not the only guy that does this!

Thats stretching it Ray. Usually I'm doing laundry as I do other things. No line drying here.
