    He ran over the Sunday paper buried under the snow, and now it's all jammed up in the chamber behind the auger.
    He must not tip the carrier. I do, and he leaves the paper on my doorstep, double bagged.

    Yeah, I cancelled all of my outdoor plans on Friday. good thing I had DVR'd a bunch of movies with the free HBO weekend a few weeks ago, and we have some football on today as well.

    -5 this morning was the coldest I've seen this year. But it is beautifully sunny! Cold today and tomorrow then a couple days of warmer before another shot of cold. Well, it is January. :whistle:

    6* outside, about 7" of snow. Got up late and raked coals around for an hour or so. Just had to get some ash out.
    63 inside. Fire has only been going good for an hour and inside temp had raised 5 degrees. I take that. Stove dinning on a load of Honey Locus with a side of Oak.
    Snow plow just went by. It is time to freeze and plow snow from the driveway.

    1 degree outside, wind chill a heck of a lot lower than that. 72 inside with a load of maple and oak in the Encore. Not a whole lot of snow, just some lake effect blowing off Lake Huron. Not enough to have to deal with. Most of it is just blowing away.

    Had -10 this morning, up to 16 now. Actually felt better than yesterday with a lighter wind. Loaded a little extra in the boiler last night & still about 1/3 left at 7 AM. Nice bright sunshine too, not bad out! Gotta give our weather folks credit, they hit this one right on for snow totals, temps, & timing.
