Yay. We've warmed up to 3 degrees and the snow has picked up a fair bit mixed with sleet. North wind at 15 gusting 22. Fun day coming.

Back inside waiting on my pancakes and sausage. Did our drive and 5 neighbors. Blue skis and bright sun out there now.

How about it raybonz? Getting icing down there?

We are edging close to 3/4" of sleet now. No freezing rain, so far ok.

Haven't been out yet but i would guess 14" total here. No wind. Roads are clear. Another non event.
Local pizza shop made a video for their Facebook page making fun of all the weather stations and channels for the over blown forecasts and closings.

I so love snowblowing in the rain. Not!

Woke up to about 4in snow. Once the radar indicated the snow was about done, out I went. Figured the longer I wait, the wetter the snow would get.

    Goals

Clear driveway and cars to be able to get out of we had to. DONE.
Clear the way to wood racks. DONE
Hang out Patriots game day flag. DONE

Looks like a mix of rain/freezing rain/sleet right now, before the deep freeze hits tonight.

Mrs MikeinMa has bread baking in her bread machine. I made a pot of chicken vegetable soup to reheat with the bread. Chill out, watching the weather, staying warm by the stove, and putting on the football games later.

The wind she blow on Lak’ Champlain...

You’ve been holding about 15 degrees colder than down here since yesterday. It has been very fine ice pellets here most of the day. Expecting it to break just before dusk, so holding off on clearing snow.

The weather man says we have 8 inches on the ground. Keeps changing from sleet to snow. right on the edge of the ever changing snow storm. Sleet not sticking, It is a frozen granular junk. The only way I like ice is when it crushed and in a glass with a beverage. My son is hard at it keeping the driveway and walkways clear as he can. Temp is 5 F. going down to 2 F tonight so I am not thinking we will have anything sticky. While that is all nasty, its redemption is that it can be moved. Down in Connecticut, The Weather Station is showing ice all over everything. Weatherman just said "sleet dings, freezing rain clings" good way to keep them seperate. Bad when you get both together.

I always enjoy seeing pictures of your fur friend. My lab goes out, but then doesn't know enough to come back in. She'll stand there and just look at you, then walk off. I've had to go get her and lead her back in. This is since my son brought home his siberian husky. She also has developed a phobia with electronic pings. Like the noise when the phone pings with a new message, e-mail etc. Gotta figure out how to turn those noises off. She isn't wearing a training collar.

We've dropped 8* in the last hour. All the slush is freezing/frozen. Winds around 30 mph. Think it's time for a ham sammich.

Been watching the outages march northeast through CT. Our weather is similar to yours... at this point I don’t think we will have to worry about ice... when the wind picks up, I imagine the outages will also... people will have to help each other out if they don’t get power restored quickly...

Flamestead .. I post temps without wind chill. I am at wide part of that frozen ice box.. Currently at 0 and burning a lot:D

Although Tom Messner said I am in 12 to 18 inch range and you are in 18 to 24 range.. I see 3 to 5 inches in some places with drifts over 3 feet..
    Stay warm hoarders..

Rain here. The slushy mush is just about washed away, but it isn't getting quite as warm quite as far as forecast. The high for the day which was estimated yesterday to be 52 has now been changed to 42. Wind keeps switching from wnw to sse
