I had a 365 but traded it off before I ever used it.

I know the newer 365's, the "X-Torq" models are a little over 70cc rather than the 65 implied by the name, but I haven't run one to compare it to my 460. A nice one showed up at a nearby pawn shop a month or so ago, but they wanted even more than they could get for it on eBay. I tried and failed to negotiate a reasonable (well, maybe a bit better than reasonable) price. In fact I tried repeatedly, enough that the last time I stopped in the shop owner lied that he'd finally sold it just to get rid of me. A couple of days later I drove by and it was out on the table again. So sad.

Comparing a Husqy to a Stihl is like comparing a Chevette to a Charger.
(I can't load smilies on my phone but imagine a smiling one here)

A 365 should hand two 460 Ranchers their azz all day every day. Big difference in the build and performance of those two saws. The 365 is essentially a detuned 372XP and there is a ton of info on how to easily remove the restrictions. Widely regarded as one of the best deals in pro saws today.

I have several examples of the Husqvarna 365 Specials as well as 372XP's. These are not the X-Torq style saws.

There's not much performance difference with any of the 365 Special, 372 XP, 365XT, or 372XT. They are all good.

    Same here...."my bad"

The Stihl 460 seems to be a "benchmark" saw to compare to so it seemed logical.
    I didn't even know Husqvarna made a 460.

The Husqvarna 460 is just a plastic clamshell homeowner's saw that amounts to being a big bore 455. There are a Strato format

They are OK for a occasional use home owner. But no way are they any comparison to a Stihl 046 or 460

The 365 (when transfers are opened) would hold its own against a MS 460. That's what I thought you meant as well.

The Husq 460 Rancher, isn't even in the same league.

For the money, a J-red 2265 (Husq 365 in red) can be had from a member here for very cheap compared to Dealer MSRP.

Thought you meant a Stihl also...... the two Husky's aren't even in the same ball game.
