Snow stopped and it has been drizzling here for about an hour but the temps are just on the edge and radar shows we should be back into snow soon. Still showing another 8 - 10 and blowing snow to come.

Well, keeping things in perspective.. here's a pic from a few years ago when I had to shovel snow off of the roof and today.

Not worrying much as of now.

Just hope it doesn't turn into an icing event for you.

On the plus side.. it's not 8PM yet.

Pittsburgh update : I made a big pot of hot sausage potato soup late this am thinking I may need a good warm up after running the snowblower and shoveling. It's kinda like the zupa from Olive Garden but way better. Mine's a nice blend of hot sausage, garlic , onions, bacon , hot pepper flakes, chicken broth , half & half , kale and taters.

I'm thinking making the soup pretty much put the snowcast for Pittsburgh in the pooper. Rain for the past 5 hours and looking like above freezing for some time then maybe sleet and a couple inches. Hopefully the Laurel Ridge will get some snow so the DCNR can open the snowmobile trails. It looks like there may be a few inches up there but not too promising. :(

    This just in...

I86 in our area not shut down.
Traffic is light, and slow moving.

Seems most people would rather be home than out traveling.
    :loco:

I've driven in worse than this, but am glad I don't have anywhere I need to be other than home.
