Started freezing rain/snow combo about 30 minutes ago...all snow now...hard enough that the road has a thin white coating already...kinda weird, storms comin from the west, wind is from the east right now :loco:

Gonna take my sister to pick up some pellet chow, and fill another gas jug and get some diesel for the tractor.

Yep ,,, I'm doing a refill on the furnace room here shortly so the wood has time to warm up before the deep freeze tomorrow.

I don't know what's going on with NY/PA but the last 2 storms we've had they banned truck traffic from the interstates. Kinda rediculous taking 80000lb trucks off the wide flat roads and making them run hilly winding narrow side roads !:loco:

That is what usually happens. East wind with snow storms. But it can vary also from NE to SE, although we typically get mostly SE here.

Now that sounds weird. Probably afraid of accidents; got to get those big rigs out of here so they don't damage the little cars.

It's in the shed for now. I don't think the river is coming up that high, but, I'm much more vigilant these days! :binoculars: :handshake:

No. They are trying to keep the 80,000 lb. missiles off the road and stop the 50 car pile-ups...
that close the roads for days....and keep the plow trucks (and emergency vehicles) from getting through...:handshake:

Double and triple trailers have no place on our roads in inclement weather...and they shouldn't have to be told...but...
