I'd throw in a hallelujah and an amen: but I'll probably be struck down by lightning while sn*wblowing. :picard:

Just the notice from the moving company....Wednesday is the day. They expect to have my stuff moved into the new place either Sat. the 26th, or Monday the 28th.
Still quite a bit of packing to do, especially the shed and all the hand tools o_O

Yeah - just glad I have a job I CAN perform from home on occasion. The poor hourly employees either make it in or make up the time later (or use personal time). The upper management did send out an email today telling everyone to use their best judgment during adverse weather.

I am already on a CCB and it makes me dizzy, my problem is because the doc wanted me to stop as much of the lifting,my major lifting was the pellet moving so pellets got reduced to zero and no stove burning 24/7 in my den. That is why the BB leaves me with problems with the cold.

Seeing I was the guy in the loader or plow, snowstorms just meant more work. It wasn't unusual for me to go home, head back in that night, plow all night then work a full day. I don't miss that! (the money was real good though)

Having banana "muffin" scrambled eggs for breakfast. Cut the banana up into a bowl and nuked it for 30 seconds - just enough to get it so I could smoosh it with a fork. Added about 1/4 cup of plain instant oats and mixed them in well. A bit of light cream, mixed in to make it smooth. Mixed in an egg and a bit more cream. Nuke for 1.5 minutes. Stir and nuke for another 30 seconds. Melted butter on top and real maple syrup.

Oh, and I always have 2 quarts of real maple syrup on hand. Not like having gallons on hand, but enough to get me thru snowmaggedon ;)

17 yr.old son backed into someone yesterday with my Jeep. Luckily he hit with the hitch so no damage to the Jeep and minor damage to the other car. Since I do body work for a living the nice gentleman agreed to let me fix it without going through insurance.:headbang:

Although not a great happening, at least you can take care of it without a great deal of fuss. And the important thing is no injuries!
