I have one of these stoves and noticed this morning that there seems to be some gap on the hinge side of the door.I lifted the door and noticed wiggle.Any one ever have the hinge pins wear out or think it might be the socket where the pin rotates in?

How do you like yours farmer rob? If I ever feel the need to buy another wood stove there is a good chance I would go with the ht2000. I really like the look of it.

Honestly it does a good job heat wise but there are a few things I do not like about them and if I was going to buy new would look at others first.
We started out with a couple of the old type stoves which looked like space heater (brown box looking things) I liked those as they took a 24"piece of wood and had grates for the ash to fall through which made ash removal nice. They also had a self regulating control(thermostat type thing)which was a spring and it automatically closed the air flow when room was at desired temp.
This unit heats good but does not have the automatic air intake feature,it takes shorter wood and is to close to the floor for filling the wood.I have to bend down more to get the wood in and also there are 3 air tubes and 2 fire brick things (6.75x16") on the top which at time take a beating when filling the stove for the night. The glass door is nice if you like to look at a flame (wife likes it ).
I hope that helps a little and if you want more insight just let me know I have been burning wood now in stoves to heat the house here in Ontario 40 plus years and have gone through 6 different stoves

That helps a lot. Thank you. I dont know what it is I just like the look of that stove. So if I ever decide to buy another stove it will be that one or a woodstock stove. I know they aren't in the same league but hey....

I am kinda disappointed to hear it is low to the ground. That's about my only problem with the 30nc at this point. I wish it sat higher.

I dog the looks of the ht. It's definitely modern.
