    They had a record December from what I hear. Had to go to Presque Isle first week of December and it was knee deep then and it was just starting. Got to do the Rockwood and Rangeley and Greenville and Farmington again next month which won't be overly enjoyable by then.

    Something changed in the weather models this afternoon. This AM when I checked we were supposed to get 5-8...now they are saying nothing. Must be tracking a little further north than expected.

    0-3" predicted for here. Instead,............ we are to enjoy temps down to -27 F at night and -7 F daytime. I'd rather have the snow.

    For sure. I used to take it off once in a while during the winter just to make it easier getting around in the woods when working on wood. Sure enough, take it off and snow in forecast. What to do then? Put it on and only get an inch of snow or leave it off and take your chances? That's life Larry!

    I doubt it. Last I looked they were saying only an inch now. One does have us at 2". Big deal. Best stock up for this biggie.

    Yes they do...they get paid to get the ratings up for their particular media outlet...and snowpacolypse/polar vortex/snowmageddon does that for 'em...how many times have we all checked the latest forecast on our phones/tv/radio in the last few days? More than usual? :whistle: ;)

    Well, the Euro model as of this evening has me excited!! We are near one of those light pink clusters in west central PA. But it keeps changing.

    And here is a US model showing Pittsburgh getting pretty much nothing but rain. We are more-or-less northeast of Johnstown by about 50 miles, so as of now, at least we should get some snow.

    I think you'll see dam close to a foot. The storm to the south will stay south lfarther than expected. Your around the bullseye when this cold front will clash with it, intensifying the storm. Keep fingers crossed! :thumbs:
