Ha! Not sure if you saw the latest forecast or not. They started big and just kept going down. This morning this is what I see:

It doesn't even appear we need a shovel. That's fine with me!

Calling for 6-10” here starting today into the weekend with temps around zero! I was hoping to get the ground to freeze first before the snow since everything is still really soft!
Nice ash by the way..... where’s the action shots of the orange machine? :tractor:

Hard to take pictures when you are the one on the tractor.

Ground is hard here but only a dusting of snow. Not much in forecast either. Less than 1/2" tonight and less than 1" tomorrow. That's enough to suit me just fine. Don't like the cold that is coming in though.

When we bought our CT house back in 2001, there was a pretty good amount of ash around these parts. Now...not so much. Really good wood for burning and making heat. Shame most have died off. Darn EAB.

EAB is just starting to dig in here. Sad to see the dead trees... Our town is full of them, yard trees, roadside, and woods. We even have an Ashmere Lake. Wonder what they will rename it in fifteen years when there's no evidence left of the ash tree? Very sad.
