I woke up to 15 outside and 75 in the family room after a night load of hickory. Shop was down to 52 and reloaded with sugar. We got 2 lab pups for our grandsons yesterday and things were a little hectic but they both slept thru the night in their crates. It's too warm in the family room for them as they were raised outside so we put their crates in the living room where its cooler.

The chicken water froze, delayed my log in.

NH mountain man must be checking the weather station. I AM seriously considering a weather cam, still researching cause in alot of the fine print there's monthly charges. Also don't want audio feature, can u imagine why? Thinking of putting it under the deck roof facing kimball hill, which is locked behind the cloud cover down in the valley. Would be able to livestream the g2g too.

    The sunrise from behind.....

Well Seasoned ,friends heat apple sized rocks on top of the woodstove and put them in the chickens water to keep the water from freezing so quick.

We've been doing alright. Usually just bring it in because they don't drink at night. The bulb under there only keeps the base channel from freezing, which is good, but the rest freezes. I'm sure a meme is being searched as I speak. :)

Nice setup, you do have once of the nicest coops, half my friends built theirs out of pallets and scraps.

Best thing to do is just buy another waterer and keep it inside, then swap them out every morning or as needed. Saves a lot of time and aggravation.
