I had a little more than half a day before the snow started this afternoon.

Good quality wood therapy with me, a couple of saws, some tools, and the Kubota.

I ended up stadging 19 logs/sticks 9 ft long and some bucked stacks on the sides of trails. The long ones got added to some off the ground stadging areas.

I will either buck and split them or the extended family may rent a processor for a weekend later this winter. Either way, today was steps in the right direction.

That tractor with the forks and the flat ground look like a great combo. Sure would make life a lot easier.
My neighbor bought a bucket that opens and closes for his tractor. It took him a while to get the hang of using it, but now he does well and can move some nice sized logs with it.

You are certainly getting better production than I do.

metalcuttr Thanks. We are on a peice of land that joins the inlaws. 60 acres total. 53ish of it is mixed hardwoods. The largest trees are some Red Oaks that are about 26".

Yes. We've got bluegill, largemouth bass, and some crappie. The pond is 2.25 acres.:seasoned:

Backwoods Savage I believe they are 42". The unit is only rated at 1 ton, so it outstrips the loader.

That is also what I have. We basically have the same tractor. Mine is 3301. I planned on getting the 3901 but they are the same tractor! Somehow they got some extra hp from the injectors; other than that they are twins! I got a whale of a deal on the 3301 too. Still wish I'd gone to the M series.... Never big enough.
