    Couldn't help myself :)
These pellets are the Bomb if I wasn't just a wee bit not capable of doing it I was gonna head down there and pick up some more. If by some miracle they are still some by next Saturday I will be headed south to grab some more and hopefully have some breakfast with some other Pellet heads here. See what the week brings ...

If you place a phone order he seems pretty good about holding them.

Could not reach pellets direct to see if they had any more Matra's but I will be making the trip regardless, daffonce I saw that Depot cafe was open early and will be hitting it before I check to see if they have the Matra's.
If you are inclined I will be there by 7 am for some breakfast I will PM you my phone # if you are interested in having some breakfast . Man I hope they have some left and if they do I will be trying to get 2 tons in 2 trips .

BAH ! Sold out and thinks he may be getting some more but most of his mills have stopped shipping. Had a great breakfast though with daffonce and did not want to go home empty so I grabbed a ton of LaCrete's it was them or LG which I have never burned so I grabbed Crete's. With the distance I did not want to haul 1.2 tons so he cut the top off and threw 11 bags off ! he shorted me a bag I should have checked but oh well .
Nice ride, nice breakfast with daffonce , ton of Crete's a good morning .

Good stuff. Good to meet you this morning. And thanks for breakfast. Cretes are a good pellet. Light fluffy ash. Also i think you have burned lgs, word is that is what is in the oakie plats now unless you were burning the old ones.

Anytime and I am sure I'll be back down there again maybe we can get TT and others to join us. The first 2 tons of okies reminded me of North Country's which if you are right were probably LG's then as he got to the bottom of the stack the pellets were entirely different as they had a completely different aroma to them which reminded me of exactly what the Eagle Valley's I have burned in the past.
LaCrete's are a great pellet as I have burned them before but not Matra's and I spoke to the proprietor as we were going over what he had in stock and he mentioned Heatr's DF pellet that I have never tried but I told him they were to expensive and I thought the Matra's were every bit as good and he agreed and added he thought they burned hotter than the DF's and that was what he was using the Matra's .
Anyways if they do come in I will be grabbing some more without a doubt as I did my weekly cleaning and there was 1/4 of the ash compared to the Okie Plat's good stuff.

On the way to visit my son for Christmas, I was in Oxford,
    on the way to Connecticut...
Really wanted to buy four bags to try out... a hopper full for both me and Henry.
But at ~$7.75/bag... I figured I could wait a couple of weeks!!
But I get it, they probly do that to discourage bag sales...
    Which we don't.
Not positive, but I think we are looking at ~6 bucks/bag.

Just drove 117 miles round trip for 20 bags of Matras because I've heard people rave about them. Better be worth the money. Actually, not too bad at $6 bag and about $11 in gas equals 6.55/bag. That is cheaper than ANYTHING that the local Aubuchon's is selling (GS and Oakie Plats - which were SPLATS as far as I was concerned from the 20 bags I tried of those).

Forgot to add that I really like the feel of the bags. Very strong and feels to be on the verge of being vacuum packed.

B, you are gonna love em and you won’t regret that trip at all. Just make sure you keep an eye on the funneling, that’s all. The heat and low ash output is most impressive, to say the least.

Nothing wrong with a good road trip. More enjoyable when it's warm out, though.

It was nice and sunny and the truck heater works well. Wind was chilly while loading/unloading the truck, but I survived.

My stoves haven't worked their way to them yet. Another nice sunny day so got lots of solar gain and wind was less than yesterday.

I hope your Harmans eat them like mine...
My glass is still crystal clear, and there is no burm at the end of the burn plate...
Day 2. still running on #2 constant... usually get some discoloration on the glass.
Side of the stove control side, 5" from the top is 482°.
    Have to admit.. Pretty pleased.
