Herky:thumbs: A children's hospital was recently built right next to the stadium. They actually have a viewing area where the kids can be taken to watch the football games. A new tradition was started I believe last year, where at the end of the 1st quarter everyone looks up at the hospital and waves to the kids.

Howdy everyone, we are warmer than the-50’s of last week house is 70. Spruce is keeping the cold at bay. Fired the wood stove in the garage up, I want to get a tractor load of wood and get some chain square grind. Have a good one everyone. Still no snow forecast for the next week here. It keeps getting darker outdoors though and I see some snow moving a bit further north but it is still a long way from us. Good.

Got some logs out today. Wood to porch. Even split a few by hand today but it was easy splitting as I was splitting some splits into smaller pieces. Back did not like it though...

Been right at 29F here all day with a stiff East wind. Cold & damp with low cloud cover off the southern storm. Filled several more totes, looked at two cutting jobs & removed a couple old posts that were in the way. 18 degree windchill made it less than nice. Loaded more small Oak splits in the boiler.

27f here and have got an inch or two of new snow. Took a pickup load of beech and ash to a friend I hunt on about 45 minutes south early this morning. Deer standing everywhere, probably saw close to 20. Came back and split and stacked some big ash rounds for about 2.5 hrs until the snow started coming hard. Supposed to go down to about 20 and maybe 3 more inches, stove is chewing on some beech and hickory.

14 here, feels good as the wind seems to be gone for now. Hit a wet patch in the wood pile, so it's been a struggle today. Wood shed is first on the spring to-do list... done with tarps!

Getting brain freeze here, -4°F heading down to -12°F with a breeze!

Dawn has to fill in for somebody at work tomorrow, so Matt and I will cross the 43rd parallel while heading to Pittsburg- maybe hit the buck rub pub, and wave to Loon at the border. :handshake:

Yup. You can't watch a weather forecast or especially an "on location" weather reporter without the over-sensationalizing of the weather that just isn't there!

    Fake weather......
