I have a friend who's offered some hog hunting in Tylertown, MS (I think). How's the hunting down that way?
That is in the opposite direction from McComb that I was. They say it is usually pretty good but I did not see any. Probably the warm weather kept them away until after dark. Sort of like the deer...
I was thrilled we had gotten down into the $2.30s where I live in central CT. We have some of the cheapest gas in the state. Many place are still easily over $2.50. I’m practically choking reading some of the low prices you guys get to pay. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yep. Same here. I found one station at 2.04 here, so I filled up my car, the gas can, and a gallon in the saw can. $40.78. All of the other stations are 2.09 a gallon.
1.93 today in my travels was the best I saw. Last week I saw 1.87 once. I am about 45 from the PA line and when I head over to shop for tax free clothes or to Pittsburgh airport it is at least 50 cents higher.
I don't remember 18 cents but 25 cents. I would fill up my 1968 Plymouth Satellite and get a carton of cigarettes when I got my check from the farm where I worked for 1.50/hr. In high school
I remember "Gas Wars" in the late 60's and early 70's where gas was down to 18 cents a gallon......life was good!
Yup, I was just a Lil' Feller and remeber my Dad's Texaco station when Reg was that and Super Sky Chief was .25/gallon.
one day $1.65 next day $2.05 repeat.................. the big Ram is diesel $3 plus $100 a tank, oh well.
I can remember 18¢/gal, but I was sitting in the back seat then. I remember paying 21-25¢/gal and getting change back from $2, the oil checked and the front and rear windows washed. I had a Dodge slant six which was actually pretty good on gas.
