    I'm so sorry you caught some crud WW. Any clue if flu or cold? The news here says there are 3
    flu strains. I'm feeling sheepish about wanting to call off kiddos visit with my mother in Colorado where the flu activity is high.

    Installed a new tarp around the woodshed to keep wind blown snow from the wood. Just went out to top the boiler. The snow has begun. Maybe up to 7 inches.

    If I wake up at 4 or so, I plan to drive around the county and do some live news feeds for our department social media page. Should be fun.

    Heading out on the ice in a few hours to the darkhouse for half a day to watch the Scandinavian TV (aka spear hole) . Was thinking of moving the house, but now that I am a bit older I am content and not as restless to move all over the place in search of "greener pastures."

    Anyone else fishing today, or lately? How are they biting?

    It has been slow and steady here, not gangbusters, but plenty of fish to eat are being taken.

    That reminds me of when I was the Safety Ofiicer for a company back in 2011-2012. I arranged for forklift training for everyone. I sat in on the training, got 100% on the test, and got my card that said I was a fully trained lift operator. My acing the test p*ssed off the engineering manager, who had also taken the testing (and had a really big ego). I really tweaked him when I told him I had never, ever, run a fork lift (hand lift sure, but not driven). And the guys tweaked him further by making a meme and passing it around the office thru email. I'll have to see if I can find it.

    A great Saturday to all you hoarders out there! I hope you have some fun today.

    Can of Pepsi going in. I am having just one a day. Soon to go to 10 ounce cans if they still sell them. Then to none.

    In a half hour or so I will bring more firewood in. Then clean the Ash pan of the Wood Gun out. And clean the tubes of the boiler itself quickly.

    Then it will be time to get ready to go to the enjoyment center for twelve hours work for no pay. :confused:
