    Yep, you sound busy enough:whistle:
We the customer have to do the mods for better operation of our stoves, it shouldn't be that way :zip:
I still like my furnace over my stove, better comfort all around:thumbs:
Gotta see that stove of yours:smoke::popcorn:

Air for combustion. A little to much for our likings and we plugged some up to direct more air underneath the fire.
Tell us a story of the GM car of yours, looks sweet :binoculars:

I've never had my holes blocked up, but I did this year trying to run LG's Satisfaction pellets. I never had good luck with LG's through this furnace. I blocked some holes on the pusher and door from the start with this newer furnace and it ran fine until this year's episode, it was a huge clinker on the dooro_O
What are you burning in your furnace?
Had a feeling it was a Pontiac :D

Has been awhile since I was on here had some medical issues so wasn't on the computer much. I am burning straight corn this year no more rye seed to much dust in the furnace. I cant get this thing past 3 as it gets to damm hot. When using it at night just leave it on 1 and only drops maybe 4/5 degrees overnight. Outside temps much the same as Ivanhoe. Have only used 1/2 ton of corn so far and started the furnace the last week of November. Have also used a single cord of wood. I also installed a mini split a/c that also produces heat and we used that until temps fall to minus 13 to 15 c. Best investment so far. Uses next to nothing for hydro.
Take care to all. Old Fart

Did you see that 50F furnace for $500, I would of bought it on the spot but I am too far away. It went quick! Considering burning corn but have to get it at a far distance so it ain't in the works today, maybe when pellets prices go through the roof. We on this forum help each other out, that in itself makes this place so special. How much is the corn in your area?

Yes Ivan same source. I have been buying from him for 3/4 years now. Price just went up this year $ 240.00 metric ton.
It is still about half price of pellets maybe even less. have not priced pellets for a few years now. My corn is dried to 15.5 percent.

Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone has had a problem with the fan limit control, my unit is going well above 220 degrees before the fan will kick on.

    Nope, never had that problem.
Are you the original owner? Maybe the previous owner played with the high limit or tried to adjust the temperature adjustment without holding the fan limit steady! It should be 200*F high limit!
edit; you are the original owner, doh!
It should be covered by the warranty!

I would take the cover off and watch the fan limit move as it's rising in temperature!

It does but it is hanging up, cause if I take my hand and bump the unit it will move.

The fan limit is a delicate unit and should work fine if untouched! Your screws for the plenum just above it are not touching it?
I would check with Fahrenheit folks, try the dealer first, It should be under warranty!!

no the screws are not touching, don't have a dealer went to the factory and picked it up, mark is on vac and matt was not in, will call tomorrow, I do have another question though, I don't have the air flow throughout my duct work, would it be a good idea to install a trunk line booster.

The distribution fan is much smaller than a regular furnace so you have to keep that in mind. You have to take into account of which one is necessary to be open and go from there. I suggest the corners of the house and add to it as seem fitting. The less you have open, the higher the heat of warm air will be. Hope I make sense. I have about 10-11 opened and open the spare bedrooms when company stays overnight.

#1 & #2 pics for Dexter, I've removed the glass shield because of it drooping down from the high heat.
#3 & #4 is my deteriorating ramp which I would say was caused by the warping re-light plate leaving burning fuel on it when retracted to the out 0f the way position.

Flames are starting to shoot behind the ramp now, looks like I need to rebuild a stainless one ASAP
My last spare Fasco exhaust motor is starting to make noises, the motor frame is becoming loose like my last one:doh:
