Some of us live VERY close, and have offered after being gifted a load of locust. The woman just loves to chop wood! Cant say I blame her. If it wasnt for my back, I'd go back to it
When I saw the pic of the truck loaded the old saying, “Nevermind the mule, load the wagon” came to mind. Nice job.
Little extra meat in that Taco. Good on ya, Brandon! Ralphie, looks like you have some work ahead. Enjoy!
Well done Brandon Scott & Ralphie Boy ! I've heard it said that true wealth is not measured in dollars, but in true friends. You guys can figure out for yourselves who's truly rich.
Some of us live close enough to help with hydro splitting if anyone was interested... I haven't forgotten your generous offers, but I'll save them until I really need help... Until then I'll carry on, I enjoy it too much!
Props to Brandon Scott for offering up that nice chunk of wood That's gonna be so nice to split, looks straight and clean, no knots
It really is enjoyable! The only benefit I have found to hydro (aside from the lack of debilitating pain) is that I am able to get nice square sticks that can stuff the stove quite well. I've also taken to popping the bark and punky sap wood off the squares as well. Nice loads of pure BTUs coming up in a few years!
Glad you found a brother hoarder close by. Great gesture. Thanks for sharing your other wood with older folks. A blessing isn't a blessing until you pass it on. And I found out, you can't out give GOD. HE will surely return your blessings many times.
Just throw them to the side. I've had numerous birds just waiting for me to finish splitting and the buffet to open. Had a few hang around close and I would throw a grub or two to them.
I dont have chickens anymore. I just toss em aside. I actually just found a bunch under the bark of the white oak I'm splitting.
