so the wife was out tonight and I’ve been meaning to clean the garage for awhile. What a better time to tidy some things up right!? Well I go about my business and get some things in there proper place, get ride of some stuff, clean floors and so on... then comes some... let’s call them odds and ends that the wife has been PILEING up where they shouldn’t be. I’ve politely reminded her a couple of times to try to put her things away with no such results. So I took things into my own hands and put her stuff (boat bag, pool bag, gift box’sss, grocery bags, kids stuff from seasons ago, etc. etc. etc) into the storage room where I can shut and not look at it! Well I was thinking when she got home she would be pretty happy with the clean garage, yah right!!the wife gets home and you'd think I’d burned the house down she says I can’t believe you moved my stuff bla bla bla!!!! Sometimes you just can’t win!
I've tried this myself. You can't win. Yet when you have something that you put in a spot that she deems in her way, good like knowing where she put it. That is if she didn't just throw it out. Oh the wonderful trials and tribulations of being married.
I feel your pain. Small house and a single stall garage that she insists on should be all hers. I to keep peace have parted with more than she could ever realize and get criticized constantly about being a hoarder of everything. I just wish we could reverse roles for a week and do the turnabout is fair play, but I know that wouldn't end well.
Dakota Hoarder .. Your wrong!! Admit it and apologize!!! I tried this a few weeks ago, we moved my office to a different room and my new desk is a third of the size of the old one. My wife thought this was a great idea so that my desk would get so cluttered. My response was can we try this same Theory on closets and countertops?? Don't get me wrong I love my wife and wouldn't trade her for all the tea in China! Welcome to the estrogen ocean
