I like old stuff and I have a bunch of it in storage. Some is useful and some (most?) will more than likely be thrown out upon my death!

    Gotta quit saving it.

Haha. Same here. I told my son he will inherit my stuff someday. He rolled his eyes. He'll figure it out someday.

"old stuff... Some is useful and some (most?) will more than likely be thrown out upon my death!" ... a very sad and probable reality when I'm gone too. I had to make way too many of those decisions about what to keep, give away or throw away... when we sold the old farm. Just can't save everything forever I guess... :BrianK:

Does anyone know what this is? My grandparents had one in their house. I still have it.

I have one but only use it to go online with the wireless at work during breaks and lunch. I think my phone calls are free after 7 in the evening but have never used it and haven't given my # out to anyone except my wife and daughter.
I can't stand talking on the phone. Just the sound of it ringing drives me up the wall. Even if we're all here and it rings we usually let the answering machine get it to screen the calls.

We all have cell phones here and I told my wife we should get rid of the landline several times but it's like talking to the hand.

We have a winner! It’s a Toastolator toaster from the 1930s. It had a conveyor that moved the bread between heating elements. You could see the toast go by through the small glass.

Those are my sisters skates. I cut the back off one of mine
    and made a skate board.

justdraftn, my dad had the same radio when I was a kid. In fact, I’d say it’s still in the cabin in the Catskills that we sold in 2017.

    Here’s one for y’all......

Well my parents had one. I was about 5 when they got it. The rollers actually had some flexibility which was a blessing for me. I was showing my girlfriend how the rollers worked, not paying attention ad kids do and it ending up grabbing my fingers and I was on all the way to the should before my mom got to shut it off. Nothing broken but did have to wear s sling for a few days. Well they tried to make me Wear it  :rofl: :rofl:
