    I notice some members are tagged as banned when reading through threads.

    How does one get banned, and are there any second chances?

    Not planning on going that route, just curious.

    I've read the black letter of the rules, I was hoping for something a little more nuanced. Examples are always great.

    When I trace posts of banned members back to their last few posts, sometimes I don't get it. I'm guessing perhaps the most offensive posts get deleted?

    Didn’t get banned, but the argumentative nature of some people is apparent at points in that particular thread.

    Like TurboDiesel said, offensive content and definitely trolling will get that target pinned on someone’s back.

    I read through Uncle Augie's history last year, he was pretty prickly about the solar kiln, but entertaining.

    Don't seem to get many trolls here, or perhaps the mods just take care of them early.

    What a nice reprieve this is from most of the interweb.

    Am I forgetting some bad attitude I shared? Entirely possible, I do sometime drink and surf. But, generally try to save that for the "other" site. :)

    This one time at band camp, that goofball member asking for dual screen names and using Clems card for my annual dues here was me. (schlot you're hilarious!!)
    There have been a few icky bad attitude/mean things happen here but the admins/mods here always nip it in the bud. Nothing about you :)

    Panties in a bunch over bad attitude was someone upset with the admins/mods, who volunteer here to keep this place so nice. They have jobs, families, life and graciously donate time here. Nothing to do with you :)
