The short box bothers me more than the 2wd personally....I'd rather a 4x4 on those even just for having a solid axle mind you. And it seems hard to find front end parts for those old 2wd rams for some reason....

I'm the opposite, I'd rather a column. But I'd rather a console shift over that stupid dial. I mean, there's supposed to be a feature that keeps you from accidentally shifting while trying to turn down the volume, but what if you have to slam the truck in low gear or park in an emergency?

I was glad to see this in the spy shots of the new HD interior....

I've had a fire in the "kicker stove" (Drolet El Dorado) in the basement the last two daytimes only. Nice!

Today, we played cards while sitting next to the stove...nicer!

I went to church early and then she went to a later morning service. While she was gone, I read a book my daughter got me for Christmas....while sitting near the stove.....nicest!

My Ford Fusion has the stupid dial, and I hate it. If I push the center of the dial it will downshift, and continue to do so as it slows.

The church is 45 mins from the house, service and fellowship started about 10:00 PM and ended just after 12:00 PM. Drive back and then get into sleep mode took awhile. You know, have to check up on FHC before calling it a night.

WTF? I don't get that shift dial. I am not a fan of the dial selector that puts my Explorer into 4WD. I much prefer either the separate shifter (on all my previous vehicles), or the push buttons from my old Explorer but apparently that "confused" people to have to choose between 2WD, 4WD high and 4WD low so now they get to chose between icons:eek:
