In the last 5 days I have watched more new-ish movies than I have in the last year. I usually wait until they come out on FX or some other cable channel. Tuesday I On-Demanded Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Do I have to tell everyone how much I love Tyrannosaurus Rex in all the Jurassic movies? Very good movie although there were a couple of places I thought they could have done better. Don't regret the price of the On-Demand in any way though.

Last night I looked to see if OD had the latest Avengers movie but no joy. Was at the store late this afternoon for a couple things a the cashier and bag boy (both males) were talking about getting tickets to the midnight showing of the next Avengers movie. The Cashier asked when it was and the bagboy said March (I think). I interjected that I had been looking to see if it was On-Demand. The bagboy said it was on Netflix. Well, I don't have Netflix, but I remembered I have a DVD/Blueray that will do online content. Found it on Amazon Prime.

So, I just finished watching my first Amazon Prime movie rental. Dang, $2 less than on-demand movies, plus get it for something like 28 days (48 hours for OD). Anyway, very good movie. There were some places they could have left out the overly digitalized parts (in some scenes people didn't have wrinkles - in live action they had wrinkles like their middle-aged selves). Also, I hated the ending. Oh, it does leave me wanting to see the next movie, but still, very unsatisfying.

Just to show how little I see semi-recent movies, the last movie I rented from OD was Wonder Woman (I loved it) and before that - heck, it had been years. Last time I was at a movie theater was 2014 (once - I think it was Captain America), once in 2013 (Frozen), and before that it was 1996 (Tornado). Well, at least I seem to be becoming more main-stream in my old age :D:BrianK:

LOL,cool.I have not had satellite tv,(no cable here in the mountain),in over 5 years. Most new stuff, for 10 years,is crap,in my opinion.I (possibly illegally) download a movie, and watch it later.Free.I have not been in a movie theater since probably 1995.But,I did not know there is a new WW film, you got me interested!I have to fuel trucks tomorrow, and go to town and pick up more fuel tomorrow, perhaps I can check it out after that.PS,I do nothing chrome/twitter/google/facebook/and very little amazon, they invade on privacy so much,it is incredible.I have seen where these companies degregrade/dismeanor/ruin our great country.

Cleaned out my closet and dresser of all the clothes I used to wear. Guessing I'm not going to drop the 3 or 4 sizes I've gained since I've been at my (soon to be former) employer. Made room for the clothes I had ordered from Penney's on-line sale - got those washed, dried and hung up (they are all work clothes).

Cleaned the P43. Has only been 2 weeks and it could have gone until next weekend, but why? They are talking about a Nor'easter Friday so I may be busy doing a chit-ton of snow blowing and shoveling. Couldn't do that during all the time I had off could it?

BTW - my prediction is another Nor'easter on 1/7/19. Because that is my first day at my new job 50 miles away and I'm guessing Mother Nature will have a bit of fun at my expense. Any bets?

Digging into the Drolet in the next couple days as the cold allows, burning dirty again just coming off a deep cleaning. I noticed yesterday our pipe cap was black

What might you suggest we look for? I can get around the basic inside plumbing of the stove, dear husband does the exhaust and OAK. TIA

I'll check in with what we find :sherlock:

Quality Engineer - although more on the paper-pusher and compliance side.

Checked that the outside of the OAK inlet is not plugged? I had that happen to me once....OAK inlet was plugged with leaves/grass clippings in late fall.

    "Deep cleaning" included a LBT?

Manufacturing. I don't have any engineering background or degree. But I do have a lot of experience on the compliance and QMS side, so that is why I am a paper pusher, check other people's work and make sure we can prove compliance to requirements (government, customer, testing etc.).

Went to TSC to pick up the last 25 bags they have been holding for me. There were no pellets out front when I got there and I could tell they were lightly staffed, so was going to just settle for boxes of Christmas cards on sale (not like I "needed" them, just had room for them). As I checked out, I saw someone had brought 2 pallets out front, so told the cashier that I was going to take some. She went out and removed the covering for me then left me to it. Got home and stacked them in the basement.

Unless I run into a sale, or pellets I have never gotten to try, hopefully this is the last pellet pick up for this year.

I've got 1.5 tons in the basement and a bit over 2 tons in the garage. Hopefully it will be enough. If not, at least I will use up the Okie Golds that have been in the garage for a couple of years.

"This year" end in like just under 6 hours.

The "software engineer" says you can buy tomorrow and still meet the criteria of your statement.
