    Hi
    Anyone seen this?
The fire was roaring out of the back on both sides of the old Burn pot. First time I have see this!
The thin OEM gasket had very little left to it!
I updated to the new fluted Burn pot and thru in a new auger with a good gasket!
    See pics

yes, Ive seen it....quite a bit! Fortunately, easy fix....just replace the auger. That auger is nowhere near the worst Ive seen though......Seen them with half the flights gone, and the center spindle being a point. Far as I can tell, this happens when the owner decides that they will save big bucks on lowering the feed rate to, like, 1, instead of 4 or more....basically misunderstanding the machinations of the feed rate. Dont run your feed rate at one grasshoppa, it will only cost you money. It doesn't run more efficiently at 1.......

They should of not have a #1 or discreetly make it a #2, engineers:picard:

probably right, but 1 and 2 are on the way to TEST mode, so, there they are. Same argument......why have a car that can go over 65?

The overwhelming majority of Harman owners totally misunderstand the feed rate function.

That is the Maximum Feed Rate setting, because on Room Temperature, the Feed Rate automatically varies to maintain the desired room temperature that is set on the temperature dial. :)

Yes Don. I completely understand it. My point was that most (other than those of us here) don’t.

Probably the most misunderstood issue with Harmans! Now with the TC units, pretty much a nonissue.
